A LEADING Austrian urologist will be visiting Bahrain next week to provide expert services at the Royal Bahrain Hospital.
Dr Bob Djavan, who will be visiting the kingdom from Saturday to Monday, has years of experience in the field of urology, as well as managing and treating prostate cancer, prostate disease, uro oncology, kidney and bladder cancer, testicular cancer, urinary stone disease, robotic and minimally invasive surgery, incontinence and female urology, laparoscopy, laser surgery and endourology.
He holds a degree in urology from the Vienna Medical University and has obtained the Fellowship of Department of Urology, Texas University.
Dr Djavan is currently a urology professor at the Vienna University and the New York University in addition to being chairman of the Department of Urology, Rudolfinerhaus Foundation Hospital in Vienna.
He is proficient in multiple languages and speaks English, German, French and Italian.
