CUISINES, contests and celebrities will be the highlights of LuLu Food World Festival, which will be officially inaugurated at the hypermarket’s Dana Mall this evening.
Season One of the festival will feature Chef Jomon Kuriakose, who has flown in from the UK, Bahrain-based chefs Aala and Yousif Zainal, as well as LuLu Bahrain head chef Suresh Nair. They will be preparing special menus focused on global cuisine, which customers can purchase from any of the hypermarket’s locations across the kingdom.
On February 27, Indian actress Honey Rose from the state of Kerala will make an appearance at the festival, take a tour of the event, sample tasty treats and launch new products to excited attendees.
LuLu has also announced Masterclass sessions with chefs during the course of the festival and a Bake O’ Clock event that will reveal tips and tricks of the trade. To pick up some winning culinary hacks, shoppers can register for a Masterclass on LuLu’s social media channels.
The food festival will be held across all LuLu outlets in Bahrain until March 8.
