Bahrain are stepping up preparations to participate in the West Asian Triathlon Championship, which will be held in Kuwait from Friday to Sunday.
Bahrain Triathlon Federation president Abdulla Abdul Salam will head the kingdom’s delegation which includes national coach Mubarak Mohammed, athletes Omar Hamza, Abdul Rahman Mubarak, Abdulrahman Al Hassan and Ahmed Tariq, in addition to Maryam Al Arrayedh, who will participate in the women’s competitions.
The national triathlon team which will leave for Kuwait on Friday, will conduct a final training session ahead of the tournament.
