Guinness World Records officially named The Weeknd, also known as Abel Tesfaye, as the 'most popular artist' in the world.
The 'Die For You' singer set two Guinness World Record titles, one for 'Most Monthly Listeners on Spotify' and 'First Artist to Reach 100 Million Monthly Listeners on Spotify'.
After analysing the Spotify data of the biggest names in the music industry, Guinness World Records crowned the 'Starboy' singer as the first and only artist to reach 100 million listeners per month.
He currently has 111.4 million streaming followers on the platform.
The 33-year-old singer has almost 30 million more listeners than Miley Cyrus, who comes in second place with 82.4 million listeners, and Shakira in third place with 81.6 million.
