CARREFOUR has lined up a range of special offers as part of its comprehensive Back to School campaign.
The store’s approach to its Ready, Steady, Back to School initiative is based on customer insights and changing shopping trends seen over recent years.
Carrefour, operated in Bahrain by Majid Al Futtaim, focused this year’s campaign on one of the key emerging shopping trends of living a healthier lifestyle.
It targets not only children and their families getting back into their routine, but also teenagers, university students, and working adults returning from summer vacation, aiming to ‘add value’ to their shopping experience while making their lives more convenient.
“At Majid Al Futtaim, we are committed to helping transform the lives of the communities we operate in by encouraging healthy, fulfilling and sustainable lifestyles,” said Carrefour Bahrain country manager at Majid Al Futtaim Retail Jerome Akel on the occasion.
“As such, our campaign has been designed to help people get back to their daily routines in a way that is convenient and better for them.
“We pride ourselves on truly understanding our customers’ needs and every-evolving shopping trends.
“Based on insights captured over the past years, we believe that this season is not only about children getting back to school, but essentially it concerns everyone coming back from holiday – whether it is university students, teenagers, or adults going back to work.

As part of the campaign, Carrefour has partnered up with Farah Abu Maizar, a popular local food blogger who runs @Everylittlecrumb, to provide inspiration for nutritious recipes that will be posted on Carrefour’s Instagram page, making it easier for consumers to adopt healthier lifestyles.
Carrefour has also launched ready-meal box options which include sandwiches, juices, fruits and more.
A stand has also been set up for customers who wish to receive a makeover from Maybelline, while MyCLUB members in particular who spend BD10 or more will get a chance to participate in a lucky dip draw and win several exciting prizes.
