Hajji races to fine win

SAUDI Arabia’s Ali Al Hajji won the men’s title in 21.22 minutes in a Mountain Bike Race organised by Bahrain Cycling Association in Sakhir.

Over 170 cyclists from Bahrain and abroad took part in the race

Al Hajji was followed by Edwardo Nardo (21.35) and Rosselli John (21.58) in second and third places respectively.

In the women’s category, Kacy Pitman was the first to cross the finish line, clocking 30.18. She was followed by Mariam Al Wardi (33) and Sahar Drawa (33.12).

In the physical disabilities section, Hamad Al Tamimi won the race and he was followed by Sayyed Ali and Hamad Nabeel.

Success

In the boys’ section, Mohammed Faisal raced to victory. He was followed by Abdulrahman Al Hassan and Youssef Abdulla.

Bahrain Cycling Association chairman Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed delight at the success of the race and commended the efforts of the organising committee.
