One of the region’s much-loved actresses has spoken of her desire to film again in Bahrain following the successful shooting of her latest Ramadan drama series in the kingdom.
Huda Hussain, lovingly regarded as ‘The Queen’ by her fans and the acting fraternity, has been filming Kaf wa Dofoof, translated in English to read ‘Palm and Tambourines’, as reported earlier by the GDN.
“I am so impressed with the Bahraini actors and crew members I have been working alongside in recent days that it has encouraged me to plan to work here again,” said Ms Hussain.
“There is so much fresh talent and new faces that need to be shared with a far larger audience.
“Let’s hope we can continue this journey, be successful and witness the drama scene here progress.”
She also thanked the GDN and our sister newspaper Akhbar Al Khaleej for their ‘huge support’ in offering a location for some of the scenes to be featured over 30 episodes on MBC.
