Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have pledged to strengthen their strategic partnership to achieve shared aspirations.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Prime Minister, highlighted the depth of these relations as he held talks with Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Riyadh yesterday.
He highlighted the support of both His Majesty King Hamad and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as well as Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s continued commitment to further bilateral co-operation.
HRH Prince Salman affirmed Bahrain’s complete support for the safety and stability of Saudi Arabia, emphasising its strategic role and commitment to serve the causes of Arab and Islamic nations. Saudi is a cornerstone of regional stability, he pointed out.
He commended Saudi’s contributions to serving humanity and supporting Arab justice and rights, noting the active role it plays in shaping the global economy – now and in the future.
The Crown Prince Prime Minister highlighted the work of the Saudi-Bahraini Co-ordination Council, noting that the outcomes of its first meeting have resulted in even greater consolidation of joint progress and future development.
Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Bahrain’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Shaikh Humood bin Abdulla Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
Earlier, HRH Prince Salman was welcomed on arrival in Riyadh by the Saudi Crown Prince.
