Dubai: Dubai's clinics on wheels, launched to administer Covid-19 vaccines to various areas around the emirate, has already vaccinated 7,688 people in under a month.
Staffed by 11 nurses and doctors, the two clinics are being run by the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
They have been deployed as part of the Wellness on Wheels (WoW) initiative, a project launched by the MBRU to provide medical assistance, Khaleej Times reported.
The vaccination drives administer jabs across 11 points and is in line with Dubai’s efforts to vaccinate 100 per cent of all eligible adults by the end of the year.
