The Health Ministry has announced the death of a 70-year-old Bahraini man from Covid-19 today.
This takes the total number of fatalities to 474 in the kingdom.
The ministry has expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased.
Bahrain yesterday registered 653 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 718 recoveries and one death.
A Bahraini woman, 54, died yesterday. Of the new cases, 239 were expat workers, 406 contacts of active cases and eight travel-related.
An additional 718 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 120,489.
Of the 6,292 active cases, 112 are receiving treatment and 56 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 127,255 cases. The kingdom has also conducted 3,210,185 test.
